Towner – Eastbourne – William Gear Centenary

Tonight I photographed the Private View and opening of the William Gear centenary exhibition at Towner – Eastbourne. William Gear; The painter that Britain forgot. It is a comprehensive collection of his work from his early work to his final works before his death in 1997

As chair of the board of trustee’s, David Dimbleby was attending to talk, as well as the son of William Gear, who was gracious enough to filed questions and give a guided tour of the exhibition to Towner staff as well as members of Towner.
