“UK-based Israeli artist Ori Gersht will be showing two major moving image works Evaders (2009, from the Towner Collection) and The Forest, (2005) alongside a series of large scale photographs. 7 FEBRUARY – 26 APRIL 2015”
As a part of my role as official event photographer for Towner I was commissioned to photograph the install of Ori Gersht’s exhibition into the Eric Ravilious room.

A huge amount of effort goes into preparing the exhibition space. Repainting the room for film displays and projection of Ori Gersht’s films.

It was a huge privilege to photograph the install and to meet Ori. I love his work, finding it effected me greatly. Haunting landscapes and a difficult subject, which he has dealt with sensitively. But still powerfully enough to provoke quite disturbing emotions.
