Norman Dewis OBE 3rd August 1920 – 8th June 2019.

Norman Dewis OBE would have been 100 years old this day. Norman Dewis OBE was test driver at Jaguar at an innovative time, that saw him help develop the disk brake with Sir Stirling Moss and Sir William Lyons, co-founder of Jaguar Cars Limited. Norman was instrumental in the development of many Jaguar cars, including the iconic E-Type.

I met and photographed Norman on several occasions. You can see the results of these encounters and learn more about this legend of the British motor industry here: Click to see more photos and read the story of Sir Norman Dewis OBE.
